Best Voice Recording Software For Studio

Forget about anything you've heard about this product that is in any way negative. This is as close as most of us are ever going to come to a studio mic. Its heavy, it has all the controls and each of the knobs are solid as a rock. I use the product to do voice over work for web video. I use it with the free software from audacity on my imac. It makes killer voice recordings gang. Buy it now, rush your delivery open the box and plug this bad boy in, but first make sure you have recording software and a set of attached speakers. You are not going to find it at any better price than at B&H

I got these as part of a package for setting up my home voice recording studio. I don't have much to compare them to, but they work great with the pre-amp and mic I bought with them. Before I set all that up, I plugged them into my ipod and the sound was incredible; I was getting chills from songs I'd never have given a second thought.

I wanted to set up a home recording studio for voice work and audiobook recording. I had heard that USB microphones were low quality, so I was looking at others, but then someone I trusted (with experience in audiobook production) told me the AT2020USB was absolutely THE best mic I could buy. After searching online, I found that B&H had it for $$less than anybody else!! When my mic arrived, I opened it and plugged it into my computer and VOILA! I was in business. It was so easy, and the quality is EXCELLENT. I am thrilled with the AT2020USB and recommend it to anybody who wants to get high quality without spending a bundle.

As a recording studio owner and engineer, I needed producers to be able to hear clear audio over long distance telephone land lines. I can now have voice over talent come in to record and the producer can be anywhere in the world. For $...it was well worth the investment. It will pay for itself in one voice over session!

I use this studio arm to make recording of my voice - for my YouTube videos easier. I did have to pull the cable out a little further near the end - where the mic plugs in. In order to allow the best configuration of the mic (with an isolation mount attached) without crimping the cable end - near the connector. One little note is that if you use the extension arm, make sure to have the retaining screw at the base of the mount out as much as possible - also make sure that the arm is all the way in. It might be a little difficult to know when it's all the way in, just push it in until you know for certain that it is fully inserted into the mount. (When I first set up the studio arm - while using the extension arm. I thought it was all the way in, and it wasn't - which could have caused the studio arm to fall, which would have messed up my computer)

I'm a professional voice-over artist, and audiobook narrator and this product answers all my home studio recording requirements.

Solid product. I use it in a home studio setup for voice recording. Convenient storage capability, doesn't take up a lot of space. Definitely worth the money.

I use this is a small recording studio for voice overs. It works perfectly. Clamp is solid and strong. It holds the mic in any position you leave it in. It is quiet and it includes 4 velcro straps to hold your cables in place. What more could you want?

The Mic is used for recording dialogue during interviews and as well studio voice over recordings. It is replacing a Sennheiser MKE 600 and the difference in the sound quality is quite noticeable. I had both of these mics operating and recording recently and my 8 year old put on the headphones and switched between the 2 of them several times and said he loved his voice with the 416. I realize he is not an audio expert but he picked the 416 each time. I will agree with him 100%.

I've been using protools for about 10 years in my recording studio and I think is the best software for record, edit and mix music. I got this version for working in my laptop and now I can work everywhere. The native plug ins woks very well and you can get others of your preference that run well too. For shure I will continue using protools in the future.
