Best Waterproof Camera With Gps And Wifi

Works pretty well and adds wifi to my 5DSR for not a lot of money. Only thing I wish is that my camera had wifi (and GPS) builtin. But can't beat the 50MP with a good lens.

This camera is an upgrade from the 5DIII.� I have used it for 3 weeks, almost entirely shooting stills.� As advertised, the IQ is improved, with greater resolution, low light performance, and dynamic range.� The built in WiFi and GPS are nice additions, but probably contribute to battery drain. My only real complaint is that the battery life is far shorter than the 5DIII and my other prior DSLRs, even with WiFi turned off, and GPS in the battery saving mode.� I find I need to always have a spare battery in my pocket when I go out with this camera.� This is probably why L&H supplied a free battery pack and extra battery with the camera.

I got this for travel photography to use with my 5D Mark III. I've got an eye-fi that does WIFI-based geotagging, but needed something that works anywhere, even remote travel locations not near any WIFI. This GPS unit does the job anywhere. If you go into a tunnel, cave, etc, it will use the last known location, which is good enough for those rare cases. Your photos will have GPS in them, which is good for map-based photo apps, filling the Gap where DSLR's have fallen through compared to smartphone gps tagging. Overall simple to use, and simple to setup on first use in native 5D Mark III camera menus. My only complaint is that it is slightly large, sitting in the hot shoe on top of the camera. If you're using a 5D with a 24-70mm lens, you already have a big enough camera, and this just adds to it. But after the initial size shock, it works fine and molds well with the camera. AA battery lasts a long time (at least a week or 500 pictures), and you can set the GPS poll interval to many levels from every second to upwards of once every 10 minutes. I had it at 1 min, and once left it on overnight by mistake, only to find the battery dead in the morning. Would be nice if it had an auto-shut off or power activated by the camera's on/off state. Built well, sturdy, fits solid to camera. Not worried about damaging or scratching it all. Matches the camera body well, despite size.

This case is THE BEST camera case available. It is 100% waterproof and indestructible. I would not use anything other than a PELICAN CASE.

Best WiFi camera This camera has all the same functionality as a Nest cam and it also has a memory card in it so you don�t have to pay for a service. The picture is very clear, notifications are easy and you can set it up for human detection, again, something you have to pay for with nest. App is very easy to use and for the money, this is by far the best option.

This Purchase will be out inthe weather, providing me information on my Travels, and Maintaining GPS LOGS, mileage traveled, speed and most important showing me my route home, at any spot I choose to alter my travels. The Android System, and the Xenarc thoughts, provide minimalist CLUTTER APPS, one must Choose their Required Applictions, and lots of memory, with the memory free from clutter. Don't by this, if a normal Tablet Is all you need. BUY this if you Travel to the Beat of a Different Drum. You will Not be disappointed.

I have owned 4 Garmin units previously and have 3 built in automotive gps units. The XT is in my opinion The BEST Of The Best.
