The C3000 is my main mic, I use it on acustic instruments as Classical, Acustic and Portuguese Guitar,and also on Vocals and as a room mic. It sounds closer to what you hear in the room then any other mic, with a smooth top end to help you to get warm vocals. 5 |

I bought a pair of these to mic my C7 and classical guitar. Although I am still experimenting with various placements, all placements that I have tried have produced excellent results. Seems to be flat and accurate. 5 |

We use this for live streaming with two studio mics and sometimes guitar and mic. Having the meter is great. Sound quality is awesome. Nice to be able to use a mix of Analog and Digital together. 5 |

I purchased this as another option for capturing live guitar + vocals in intimate environments. Both the standard H6 X-Y mic and this sound great but in different ways and I now quite prefer the sound of this because 1) it creates a more intimate/present focus of the vocal and guitar, 2) you have better control of voc/guitar balance by judicious aiming of the mic, and 3) you can determine the mix of mid/side and therefore stereo spread in post production (like any mic/side mic). In contrast, I find the X-Y mic pleasant but the stereo field is a bit more disperse. Pleasant, but not the same as how the real world sounds if you're 6 feet in front of a performer. 5 |
