I have these weird coves next to my fireplace that make it impossible to see a tv from everywhere in the room with any traditional stand or wall mount. Best purchase I ever made. My son suggested this mount for me to go over my fireplace. I had never heard of such a thing but he said "trust me mom you will love it" and I did. Today I watched the young man I hired install it and was surprised he said it really wasn't that difficult to mount. Took him about 45 minutes to assemble, mount and put TV up. It's easy to pull down and raise back up. When I'm in the kitchen it swivels and I don't miss a thing plus my neck and shoulders no longer hurt from looking up because I can bring it down to a comfortable level to watch now.
