Best Wedding Lenses Canon

I opted for it after attending a marriage and seeing the team of photographers using Sony A7 series cameras for stills and video. They were using canon, sigma and Sony lenses. I had seem use canon cameras at another wedding just a few months prior. They used a metabones, sigma mc-11 and another brand adapter. They were very comfortable with their kits in the fast paced wedding ceremony where there was a lot of movement. I love my canon lenses especially my 16-35mm and bought this to try it out. It worked out very well and got good shots, actually better on my A7riii than my 5DMarkiii. Then I tried the canon 70-200mm and the sigma 150-600mm and was satisfied with that too. Only caveat is if you want to shoot sports or other high speed work, sometimes it took a while to focus but that improved once I got the hand of it. I don’t need it for speed work and the sometimes slow focus is not an issue with me. Other than that I really have no other concerns and I think it was money well spent. I can use the best of both worlds without having to put down tons of money on a whole series of Sony lenses. Other reviewers have talked about losing half a f stop with the converter but it did not seem to be much different from my canon kit. 5 |

I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer. I have had my case for a little over a year. Unloading the other day and lost my grip on the case with my Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 50D, Canon 10d, 2 70-200L IS 2.8 lenses, Canon 24-105mm F4 L 2 Canon 580EX II's,Lightmeter, Batteries, cards etc. It fell down end over end down a flight of concrete steps, bouncing in the air like a gymnast. Slammed against a concrete wall with a loud crash.... I though I was done. I took the case in the house, it was a little scratched up. I opened it and everything looked like it did when I packed it. I turned everything on and attached lenses, flashes, etc. PERFECT!!! You got to get chu one of these! 5 |

I'm mainly a wedding and portrait photographer who exclusively buys Canon L Series lenses, so I decided to go ahead and try out this Sigma for some portrait sessions. It's STUNNING. While the color definitely varies slightly from my regular Canon lenses, I have absolutely no complaints. Tack sharp and just gorgeous. 5 |

I use 50mm lenses a lot for wedding photography and while the Canon 50mm f/1.4 is great, the construction and optics of the f/1.2 is definitely professional-grade. It's quite a bit heavier than the f/1.4 but still reasonable. 5 |

I’ve been using the canon mark iv camera body (with many different canon lenses) as my main camera for my wedding photography business for about 5 years now. A true powerhouse. It has held up beautifully even with my fast paced shooting. I just bought a second to update what I already have, the other mark iv will now be used as my backup. Highly recommended! 5 |

I own several Canon L lenses and at half the price, this is the BEST lens I own! I just bought a Pentax K5 and coupled with this lens I had to increase my photos in Photoshop CS5 to over 100% before I saw any CA (purple fringing). This lens is on a par with my Leica! And superior to my Canon L lenses. 5 |
