Love this security camera. I didn't want to have to hard wire power to a spot where I wanted to keep a eye on by my house and it was also out of a good Wi-Fi signal. I'm so glad to be free of the Wire! I'm getting excellent, clear sound on my videos now and I also like the control I have over both mics from the camera position. Also, having the mic on my person and not attached to the camera has eliminated the sound from my camera grip to an attached microphone. 5 |

Once I learned that the receiver has to be connected via the wire to the camera and did that, the wireless trigger worked flawlessly with my Sony alpha M3. Thanks to B&H technical support for the assistance and explanation. 5 |

I bought this to replace a vello wired remote that did not work reliably. I use the remote when shooting photos with camera on tripod where I do not want any vibration from tripping the camera. I like the wireless better because there is no wire attached to the camera to keep up with when moving the camera. Having a wire plugged into the mini USB on the camera under these conditions risks damaging the connection on the camera. To use the wireless remote with the D7200 and perhaps other bodies you must set the menu in the camera to recognize the remote. Otherwise it will not work at all with the default setting in the camera. See the camera instruction book for more information 5 |
