Best Wired Homekit Security Camera

Ecobee make great home security Cams. Working with HomeKit is an added bonus for me.

Have had the door/window sensors with the Smart Camera with voice controls for a few weeks now and have been very surprised with the performance so far. We currently have a wired home security system we have been thinking of replacing, and think we will be going with the Ecobee Security. When one of the doors is opened the Ecobee sensors actually notify my phone a half second before the wired alert from our current system, very impressive. Also love these sensors have motion sensors built in, big plus and help. So far the only flaw we’ve seen is that the camera will go “offline” and cannot view live video, but it seems to still records when someone enters in front of the camera and the sensors performance has not been effected by this. Usually a quick unplug/restart of the camera fixes this, but would like to find out if this is a widespread issue or just my camera doing this. Overall very happy with these products and will be testing the security suite to see how well it performs, and also plan on upgrading our AC Thermostat with the Ecobee one as well.

The Lorex A14 IP Wired Dome Security Camera system works great. The pictures are clear and let you zoom in for a better view. This is the best camera system that I have had.

I did a lot of research when replacing my existing non-HomeKit friendly security system with a HomeKit friendly one. It does require an existing ecobee thermostat as a hub, but since I've been using one in my house for years, it was a no-brainer for me. All the sensors only take minutes to install and configure, and they immediately show up as first-order members of your HomeKit environment, ready to take part in automations. ecobee's Smart Security add-on is a worthwhile upgrade, even if you don't go with a fully monitored solution. All-in-all an excellent product, easy to install, easy to use, just what you'd expect ecobee to be like!

Best, easy to use, WiFi HomeKit plug option I have found yet. Easy to setup and connect to. Their response time to commands thru Siri are quick and accurate. These plugs are small enough to allow other things to be plugged in at the same time without losing access to the whole plug. I Highly recommend these... I even ordered a second set of three after 2 weeks of use on my first three.

Installation could not have been easier and I love the integration with Apple HomeKit. Best customer experience I have ever received.
