I travel quite a bit and use this for both VOIP calls via Skype and for calls using Microsoft communicator. The sound is clear, the mic is brain dead easy to use and looks great too. Dollar for dollar, it's the best bargain out there and packs up small in a provided case.

I have been on zoom and skype calls much of the year, initially using the computer speaker and mic which was getting worse over time. This headset has a mic that is clear for others to understand and the sound quality is great. Well Done.

I use this for everything one would use a mic for. Skype calls, gaming, podcasting, music recording, etc. It works phenomenally for all of these activities. The Blue Yeti, which is the upgraded version of this product, is a little better and has a few more features. But the Snowball is absolutely the best microphone you can get in this price range. It's not just good for its price range, it's good in general. Solidly built, great stand, great sound quality. The only possible complaint I can think of is that the USB cable is ugly. This doesn't matter, since it can easily be replaced with any miniUSB cable, but it would've been nice to get a black cable with the black model.

I use for VOIP on Skype, as my phone for personal call center purposes (I made more than 100 calls a day), listening to music in between and talking on my ihpone through bluetooth. It is so versatile, works flawlessly. The mic is perfect. The sound quality is pretty darned good for a do-it-all! I've seen some other headsets that automatically mute when you swing the mic into the upright position. That would be nice, but there is absolutely no drawback to not having it.

I was looking for a mic for skype conference calls and this worked perfectly. In a big room we get everyone equalized nicely speaking at normal levels. I'm no sound-ologist, but it sounded great and did the job.They call it Yeti because it's BIG, and heavy and pretty old-school looking. You can also skip tracks, adjust the volume control, and activate your voice assistant with the touch control. I like that your music pauses when you remove the headphones and will start back where you were when you put them back on. There is a speak to chat that automatically adjusts volume when making calls so your calls are very clear. The battery life is excellent and will give you up to 30 hours when fully charged. Lastly, the microphones (5) pick up every word with precise clarity. The sound quality is unbelievable! I can honestly say I love my Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones!

This is the perfect mic for recording a Skype interview. Here's how: Connect the mic's usb output to your computer. In the settings, select the Q2U as your incoming and outgoing sound card. Do the same in Skype. Connect the mic's headphone jack to a dedicated recorder like the Zoom H4, H5 or H6, in channel 1, using an 1/8 to 1/4 cord (or either one with an adaptor on one end). Run the XLR cord from the mic to channel 2 on the recorder. Connect your headphones to the recorder's headphone jack. Make sure the remote guest uses headphones too and both parties have no live speakers. When you're done, you will have a stereo recording with the guest's voice on one channel and your voice on the other. Edit in post as needed with a free DAW like Audacity. You can even sync with video.

Great addition to my V-Moda headphones so that I can use the mic for video conference calls.
