Easy to set up. I was happy enough that wireless speeds were double in parts of the house that were slower with my old router. Then I switched from the 2.4Ghz to the 5GHz network and suddenly got wireless speeds as fast everywhere (10x what I got before in some cases) as my hardwired connection to the main computer. 5 |

I recently bought a dual band router from B&H but wasn't getting the internet speeds I had expected. I checked the built in wireless card on my laptop and discovered that is was a single band card. I found this dual band adapter at B&H and decided to order one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today. With WIN 10 and using a USB 3.0 port, it was as simple as plug and play. I am now getting 3 times faster internet speeds and am very pleased with this device. The price is great as was the free shipping. I was replacing a 15 year old Netgear Firewall Router which had capped my broadband throughput at only 60MBps. With this router installed, I'm getting the full 200+ MBps that I'm paying for to my ISP. The setup is a bit complicated if you're not used to fiddling with router settings. There is a wizard with some non-intuitive presets to help with setup as there are many different options for how the router functions. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the speed, and the relatively low cost. 5 |
