I am happy that I replaced my old router with the ax12 (rax120) when I experienced problems with it. My errors went away and I have multiple devices that need the internet. They all work like a charm. I believe people who have multiple devices sit down when buying a new router should consider how many devices they need to connect before purchasing their next router. I would recommend this product. 5 |

Recently upgraded our router. We have multiple streaming devices as well as multiple gaming devices and our phones. Speed is great. Ease of set up was great no complaints. 5 |

With two kids homeschooling right now due to lockdown, and hence on their devices almost all day, we wanted to ensure that during school hours that they could only access school-related sites. The safe access app on this router is a little complex, but does allow you to overlay multiple filters with enforced time periods, for multiple users. It's the most flexible one you can get and has no subscription. Plus, you know, it's a Synology so will likely get updates for 5+ years, unlike any other router I've ever owned. 5 |

My previous router was having issues connecting to multiple devices. Decided to upgrade and this router works great. It was easy to install. Install nightwawk app and instructions are east to follow. The internet was much faster and was able to handle multiple devices. I would recommend the nightwawk AX8 (RAX80). 5 |

Only had it for a week. Easily installed. Wired to my router. Wireless devices pick the printer up immediately. Make sure you clean the scanner before use. I had streaks right out of the box. Haven't tried IP fax yet but landline fax works fine. Wish I had a second paper tray for envelops. 5 |

This router works well with other Ubiquity Unifi devices including managed switches, wireless access points and network extenders. This router is fast. The self hosted server app works well on a Windows 10 pc. What isn't clear from the product description or BHP tech support is that the 2.5 GB ports adapt to 1 GB connections and that this router can replace an older Ubiquity UniFi router by plug and play. All that is needed, is to replace the new router on the gateway connection and adopt the device. Once you adopt the new router you get a message saying you can't have 2 gateways. Then just go and forget/remove the old gateway router from the app and re-adopt the new gateway router. Give it a bit of time and all the settings will be automatically applied to the new router. I have a xfinity cable modem, UniFi gateway router, 2 UniFi 8 port managed switched, 1 UniFi WAP, 2 UniFi Beacon wireless network extenders and about 50 network devices managed with a fixed ip setup. My only complaint is that nobody at BHP or Ubiquity could give me a straight answer on upgrading the router. 5 |

We bought this device on the strength of the Consumer Reports review, along with numerous others that consistently ranked this router very highly. It has been running for a couple of weeks now without any issues and have definitely noticed improved range and speed on the wireless signal as compared to our previous router (in some cases we are seeing equivalency in wireless speed with wired devices). In addition, the SRM management system and accompanying app are first class and allow you to easily see what is going on with your network. Finally, the SmartConnect functionality that steers the devices to 2.4 or 5GHz networks has made for a much simpler setup by only requiring a single SSID and allowing the router to do the work of deciding which band is best. Highly recommended! 5 |

I was having issues with my smart devices and streaming HDTV. My wireless system was only giving me about 100 Mbps even though my cable internet was 800 Mbps. I looked into buying faster internet and discovered if I I wanted the cable company’s top speed of 1.2 Gbps, I needed a new modem. I purchased the latest and greatest cable modem, which was one model newer and capable of 2.5 Gbps. My internet speed didn’t get better. So, I decided to replace my wireless router. I researched the wireless routers available. The three key areas I concentrated on were the WAN connection speed, coverage and wireless specifications included. The ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 was the best in all three categories and the only router I found that had all three top of the line specifications. WAN - 2.5 Gbps Wireless - WiFi 6E Home Coverage - One router and one node replaced one router and five nodes. My coverage is better with less nodes. All my smart devices and my streaming HDTV are working great and I’m getting 950 Mbps internet speed. Smartest upgrade I’ve made. 5 |
