Best Wireless Router For Powerline

The TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter is a little jewel for extending a wired Internet connection. Simply plug one unit into an AC wall outlet near a router and the other unit into an AC wall outlet in the area where one wants a wired Internet connection. Then, connect the unit by the router to the router with an Ethernet cable. Next, connect the other Powerline adapter to the device, e.g. computer, with another Ethernet cable. Now, one has a wired connection to the router. It works seamlessly by using the electrical wiring in one's building. 5 |

I had problems with consistent internet coverage in a room far from my router. Your Powerline 2000 solved my problem and now I have a great wireless and wired network 5 |

The Powerline 2000 solved my issue just as I’d hoped. Moved to a larger house and router just wasn’t providing performance and reliability it did in previous home. Assumed it was due to location of office compared to where the router change. Now with the Powerline 2000 being used everything is working fine and dandy!! 5 |

Our house was not wired with Ethernet cables and I could not get a wifi signal (I purchased a much needed upgraded router and tried a top of the line extender without any luck) into our garage for a sprinkler control panel. I finally came across reviews for the Netgear Powerline 2000+ and figured I would try them out. I plugged the adapter into our power outlet next to the router and plugged the other one on the other side of the house. I pay for 100 mb and average about 98.3 to 98.5 next to the router. Testing the Netgear Powerline 2000+ I get around 97 to 97.3 from it. Since the speed was so good, I put the adapter in a bedroom next to our garage and turned my old router into an AP and now have 70% signal strength in the garage and backyard. Great product for the price, as I saved $60 over the "high end" extender 5 |

I have been using the powerline product for more than three years, same equipment, no issues. If I have an issue with the units, I unplug them, wait 10 seconds, plug them back in and, Voila, back on-line. I can't say that it has been 100% trouble free, but very close, maybe 98% of the time no issues, the other 2%, can't say. My throughput is at least as good as either wireless or wired. Full disclose, upgrading my router did make a difference. I upgraded to a business class router, never going back to home router if at all possible. 5 |
