Beyerdynamic Dt 990 Pro Open Studio Headphones

I use the HeadAmp6PRO to listen to high end headphones, like AKG K-702, Beyerdynamic DT-990, and Sennheiser HD595. I also have a discrete class A headphone amp, but two of the above headphones need more bass, in my opinion. The bass/treble control is great - very low noise - can play the 702's very loud and they are not easy to power. Highly Recommended for this purpose, or Pro Audio.

Got this amp to use with my Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 ohm headphones. Tried some other lower powered amps but this one really works a lot better. A note that this does come with a USB-C included for use in MacBooks. When I bought it, that wasn't listed.

This amp blew my socks off. I purchased this amp to use with my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro(250 ohm) headphones. The instant I plugged them into this amp I was blown away. The sound is so clean that I heard detail in songs that I hadn't heard before. I use this for mixing and hearing all this detail has really improved my mixes. I love this amp!

The great thing about this adapter is that it also worked on my Sony, AKG, and Beyerdynamic headphones, too. Economical way to resolve the lost adapter syndrome.

Awesome sounding open backed studio headphones. Super light and easy to wear for long periods of time. I purchased a pair recently based on my fathers experience (professional recording artist) who has been using them for almost 4 years. They hold up extremely well.

These are considered the studio standard in circumaural open back headphones for good reason. The sound reproduction is excellent, with clear bass and midrange and a very balanced profile through the entire frequency spectrum. It makes me angry at how much I've spent on speakers and studio monitors, these do a better job at a fraction of the price.

i a bit of a headphone enthusiast, being a musician. i have ultrasone studio headphones, westone w3 in-ear-monitors, blue mo-fis, and various others. i was stuck in NYC recently and needed some headphones that played a bit better with some studio gear i had picked up, so i decided to take a chance on the GRADO SR80es. i'd heard about grados for years, but hadn't wanted to play around with open-back headphones. as soon as i tried them on in B&H i was sold. it's true that the SR80es don't have the pounding, overprocessed bass of something like, i guess, an Apple Beats headphone might have. but in terms of overall sound quality - blend, balance, sense of SPACE. these things absolutely amaze in those categories. i can't believe the quality of sound for $100. the open-back nature of the phones delivers an entirely different listening experience. wider, more open than anything i'd heard previously. yes, sound leak is a thing - you won't be able to listen to these on an airplane or in bed next to your significant other without them hearing plenty. and yes, sound will 'leak' IN as well, but i personally enjoy that. walking around NYC with the sounds of the city blending in to the music i was listening to - adds a new element and also adds the bonus of hearing the trash truck just before it runs me over.

Works and much faster than Samsung 990 Pro. Not sure how reliable long term.

For that price you can’t beat it. Somehow similar to Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro. Very comfortable for longer usage.

These are really great for the DT 1990 Pro. They are more comfortable then the A pads and they widen the sound just a little while softening the sharp highs of the 1990s. They might not be as analytical but I much prefer them. They also feel very durable so I'm sure they'll last the distance.
