Beyerdynamic Mmx 300 Gaming Headphones Review

I bought it to store and transport my beyerdynamic MMX 300. No complaints here.

It's always boggled my mind that every other gaming headset I've had, even when spending north of $200-250 on them, sounds like some $30 Skullcandy garbage from 20 years ago when it comes to sound quality. My travel headphones are a nice set of Sony WH-1000XM3 that I've had for several years now that I originally purchased around the $300 mark and I feel are my benchmark for what wireless headphones should sound like, and these are genuinely the only gaming headset I've heard that actually sound like they belong at the $300 headphone price-point. If you care about audio quality, these are probably the only gaming headphones you'll ever be satisfied with.

I use the HeadAmp6PRO to listen to high end headphones, like AKG K-702, Beyerdynamic DT-990, and Sennheiser HD595. I also have a discrete class A headphone amp, but two of the above headphones need more bass, in my opinion. The bass/treble control is great - very low noise - can play the 702's very loud and they are not easy to power. Highly Recommended for this purpose, or Pro Audio.

Got this amp to use with my Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 ohm headphones. Tried some other lower powered amps but this one really works a lot better. A note that this does come with a USB-C included for use in MacBooks. When I bought it, that wasn't listed.

The great thing about this adapter is that it also worked on my Sony, AKG, and Beyerdynamic headphones, too. Economical way to resolve the lost adapter syndrome.

Sound is crystal clear and sounds have depth as if coming from the room and not on your ear. Headphones are completely wireless and battery lasts What feels like eternity! Headset has great volume control, but loudness is not needed with the noise cancelling ear cushions. Comfortability of the headset is also 5 stars from the first time I wore them to the 100th time.

The feel is slightly large and bulky but are nicely padded for comfort. They have a great sound level considering they are not noise canceling. These headphones are perfect for gaming! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pair of gaming headphones. Connected to my PS4 and they paired automatically without even having to mess around. It’s nice having the detachable microphone because I don’t really use it ever, but my kids do so they’ll throw it on when they use it. It has a nice sound, it’s easy to hear left to right when you’re playing online games and need to know where the enemy is coming from. They’re very comfortable on the ears and head and fit nice. My only wish was that it was also Bluetooth so I could use them besides in the video games or PC. It uses a type of signal that just pairs to the dongle it comes with. Other than that this is a great pair of headphones.
