I use the controller with my Yongnuo YH685 Speedlites. So far, it seems to give me the same I-TTL, TTL/BL capabilities that I have with my Nikon CLS gear -- SU-800 Commander and SB-800 / SB-600 speedlights. So far, so good. I'm building a second hobby studio in my second house (summer home) and the Yongnuo gear seems to be just the thing to make lots of controlled light without spending lots of money. I can purchase six Yongnuo YN685 speedlites and one YN-622n-TX controller for less than I would spend for one Nikon speedlight and an SU-800 commander. 5 |

With loads of individual controls this controller has lots of scope, with standard Korg mediocre build quality. Having only owned it for a short time I can't speak to the durability but I've put ti through alot in a month as it's still working well. I was not able to get the Bluetooth functionality working (something to do with 64bit bluetooth, but I have other bluetooth controllers I'm not willing to possibly lose to get this functionality). 5 |
