Big Picture Of Moon

I like it do much! I see the moon!!!!!!

I received this and immediately tried it for some moon and star gazing. It was very easy to setup and once it was dialed in, it picked up the picture and I was able to focus easily. The only upgrade I would recommend is the tripod. However, if its set on a table with a stable stationary chair, it will work just fine. Great product for the price.

Telephoto feature is outstanding. Took a picture of a full (daytime) moon. You could see the craters. Great camera. Highly recommended for easy carrying..

Took this picture of the Super Blue Moon last night with the 100-400mm lens and this 1.4x teleconverter.� Nuff said.

Finally got this big boy out after sitting in the room for two weeks, been cloudy and rainy for so long. Was fading to dark about 5:00pm when I got home and the sky was clear and the three quarter moon was bright. Haven't had a chance to align scope yet so used hand controller to look at moon. First views were very impressive, haven't seen the moon thru a telescope for about forty years. The clarity of this scope seems pretty impressive. Forgot how fast the moon and starts move out of view. Tried my new cell phone adapter as well that night and those pictures aren't bad for the first time, will be trying my camera next. You certainly will need a very still platform and no movement when looking thru these scopes. I ordered a cover for this to use when viewing, it was in the low forties and the tube was getting very cold. Looking at possibly ordering the pads to put the feet on to help with vibrations. So far scope seems very nice and well built, can't wait for warmer and clearer nights to come. -Bill-

Very well built and the views are sharp and very contrasty. Very little CA when viewing the moon which is a big plus. Overall, these are a keeper.

Viewing the Moon

I recently purchased the Celestron Moon filters do use with a Celestron AstroMaster 130. Although I am new to astronomy and am just learning the ropes, I am already impressed with their performance. The filters reduce the brightness of the moon and enhance the visibility of its details. I am especially pleased that they make it easier to observe the moon with less eye strain. The filter is easy to install and the build quality seems solid. I would recommend Celestron Moon filters to anyone looking to enhance their lunar observing experience.
