Due to the cold temps of the upper mountains in big game season you wear gloves. This throw ring makes dialing the zoom a piece of cake! My new scope is watertight and in the cold weather the dial gets stiff so the throw ring really helps out on opening morning with 3-4 feet of snow on the ground and freezing temps!

I bought the big spotting scope and I am very impressed with it, a must have for bear season. Great in early mornings and evenings at low light.

The Primera carts work until 1%, then I swap them out. What else to say?

1 worked great and one was a bit flakey, not sure why.

Just recently bought this lens for shooting the night sky and I was very impress with the performance. Star Trails and Milky Photos turn up very nice. Vignetting appears to be non-existence.I was thinking between this lens and the 16mm Rokinon (Which also has great reviews) and for only $ more you get the 6mm drop in Focal Length for the 10mm Ultra Wide view. That to be me was the best extra $ you can spend to capture a huge range in a photo w/o getting the distortion of a fish lens (which an 8mm lens will get you). This is a manual lens, but for night photography it really isn't that big of a deal because you'll just leave the f-stop at 2.8 and focus at infinity for best performance.Lens is pretty big for it's size and it does not take lens filters. Given that lens filters are basically unnecessary in the digital world and that this isn't a walk around lens these drawbacks really didn't matter to me.$ for a solid prime ultra wide lens while a canon equivalent would go for $-$. Best bang for your buck.

We’ve really enjoyed sitting in Big Sky Montana and observing The deer in front of our Hyperfire II in Cordele Georgia.
