the image Apple uses for Catalina says it all...a barren island with dangerous drops for anyone going there. We hope Big Sur will be better however....a major part of that Big Sur did just fall into the sea! The iMac, once given the extra memory, becomes a real workhorse. I have three of them and thanks to B and H the price was right on. 5 |

I'm using it on an iMac Pro (Big Sur, CC2022) in Premier, AfterEffects and the finder so far. For color correction and the integration with Lumetri this thing is a dream! I never knew how much I needed to keep my hand on dials while moving thru the color settings. My color chops have already improved. Indispensable and I am only scratching the surface. 5 |

I had a Sirui K-10X and really loved it. I took that one to places like Big Sur and Point Lobos and it worked extremely well out there. But I bought this Sirui G-20KX for improved ergonomics out in the field. This one has a dial to set the tension on the ball, and it has knurled dials in lieu of rubber-coated ones. It is a big improvement over my old Sirui, which was excellent in its own right. Tension knob is a long throw, or 270 degrees, just 3/4 of a turn of the knob from loose to very tight. Built like a tank of high-tech metals, a rock solid camera mount, and quite small and light for travel---which is why I love it. Even a D850 with the very heavy Zeiss Milvus 85mm is rock solid in this mount. I will take it to Big Sur and Point Lobos this year with confidence. 5 |
