Sure you can make them yourself but why? They are made from top quality Baltic Birch plywood. Reinforced in the center so they are really solid. Solid value vs. your time and materials. 5 |

This thing is very small but packs essentially Roland's entire history. I can't speak to the grove box aspect but hook it up to a keyboard and DAW and away we go. 5 |

Rounded top plate makes it a little bit more comfortable in the hand to carry. Acra grove is continuous along the whole foot providing slight more secure mounting positions. Just a little bit higher than others. Does need the included special short foot hex wrench for installation. Typical RRS quality. 5 |

The Apogee Grove is an outstanding audio device. It improves musical dynamics, detail and spaciousness.. With good recordings it is balanced and never harsh.
