Bird Reverse Image Search

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now.

As you know filters help with image quality during the day. I was in search of filters for my new GoPro Hero 9 and decided to go with the Freewell 4K series. I'm glad I did, they are well built, and do exactly what I bought them for. I would highly recommend. - JM

I use it for bird and whale watching and looking at the moon and planets. I have the 20 to 60 times zoom. Its great because of its bright image, crisp and clear focus across the whole image, and minimal chromatic aberration. Its easy to focus and the lack of a fine focus control is not an issue. While substantial, I find it fine to carry.

The Image Stabilized Lens mounted on a EOS 40D and is used mostly for bird photography. The 18-200mm provides very good range for shooting birds. The 72mm Lens really helps getting the great shot of a bird in flight. Only available as an S lens.

Used on a F4.0 500mm for bird photography. No visible degradation of image quality. Auto focus speed is very good.

The wildlife bird pictures I have been getting out of this camera are far beyond expectations. There are a lot of features on the camera but I shoot manual. On sunny days, I set the shutter speed to 1/3200 second. The outstanding image quality viewfinder allows you to set the ISO at a setting that gives best image. With cameras that do not have electronic image, adjusting settings will not brighten or darken the image you see. A dark morning shot will look bright through the electronic image. I set the camera to 3 exposiers per click each 1/3 f stop higher. Usually the first shot comes out looking best for exposure. My birding friends with cameras love the quality of the pics this camera is producing.

I use this lens on my Olympus M-1 MarkIII camera for bird and nature photography. The 100-400 zoom is a good magnification range for most situations and the image stabilization is good enough for hand held shooting for the majority of my needs. The image's are very sharp and detailed even with significant cropping. Focus is fast an accurate. I'm very happy with this lens.

Nice size, high-quality, image-stabilized binoculars. Great for field use, bird watching, searches, etc.

I owned the Canon version of this focal range about 10 years ago. That was a fantastic lens. So is this lens. It is plenty sharp. Focusing and focus tracking are excellent. I was able to track a flying Osprey who had caught a fish some distance away. The bird was small in my frame, so I cropped it to get a larger image of the bird and the fish. To my surprise, I got a perfectly usable image after cropping. The bird was probably occupying about 5% of the frame. I used the lens with my Sony A7RIV and used the APSc mode to get to 450mm. On the trip this is the lens I used the most along with my Tamron 17-28. The combo is all I am going to bring on my next trip as I did not use any of the other Tamron lenses (28-75 and 70-180) I had with me. The 70-300 is very light. So light that it almost feels like you have a cheap lens! Let me tell you this is no cheap lens. It is light which is a major plus and a delight to carry on long hikes and it is plenty sharp for pro results.
