I have a Shure 55SH and it is not known for being a very sensitive microphone. It looks great on my desk but was not getting used much since I had to crank the mixer gain up adding a lot of noise. I have the Mackie Big Knob studio (love it!) and it has 48 volts out (phantom power) so it was easy to plug it in the back inline with the XLR mic cable. So now I have a lot more volume and a lot less noise. 5 |

I purchased the Auray TT-6110 for a Shure Super 55 Deluxe mic. The stand base is nicely weighted to help avoid knock overs. The finish is nice and slightly textured. A very well made piece, I would refer this to anyone! Great for the price! 5 |
