Black & Decker Handheld Vacuum To Amp Hours

2024-08-26 09:46:38

I bought the amp for the following reasons: 1. It is made in the USA; 2. It is vacuum tube based, pure class A amp; 3. The price. I have replaced the stock tube with a Mullard re-issue tube and let it bake for the total of 24 hours. I use it with HiFiman Sundara, Vincent integrated as the tube pre-amp. The sound is very balanced, non-fatiguing but not excessively tube-warm. It's a pleasure to listen to for hours. Highly recommended.

I bought this bad to carry my Black & Decker Battery Powered Laser Level. It was the perfect bag.

It works in the camera. Has a little less amp-hours from the original equipment, but it works well.

Using between microphone and amp for a simple PA system in a large dining hall. Handheld recorder plugged into the high impedance line while feeding the XLR to the amp. Works great.

makes dust and debris disappear. Can't vacuum.

Works flawlessly. Lasts 4-5 hours. Sticks out of camera (C200) but it actually helps when shooting handheld.

It powers my monitor for hours and I love the matte black finish.

I haven't gotten to pump a lot of volume through my amp yet, but I've played with this for several hours and I'm pretty happy with it. I need time with more volume to get my gains and levels just right and be able to make sure there's no distortion. I used the two XLR mic in and the RCA. It certainly would be nice to have a more precise way to match levels on multiple channels, but yeah this seems to be a pretty cool tiny little mixer. Does what it says. Oh and the karaoke effects work pretty well if that's your thing. Everything works.

I have had Sonos in my home for a decade, and have updated to Sonos2. This means several OneSLs, a Five, several Connects and a Connect Amp. A few of my older components were new enough that they were Sonos2 compatible. One comment about the new touch controls (top of the OneSL and the Five and front of the AMP). These work great but I wish there were some tactile guide to help me find them. Sure I get a beep when I hit the control point, but I wish that I could be guided to the spot more easily. My AMP is positioned where I can see it, so very dim glowing spots would work, but this wouldn't work on the top of my Five or the tops of the One where I can reach the top but not see it. I have rather inefficient speakers connected to the AMP. I had the AMPs SONOS1 predecessor connected previously and I can't tell that the extra power output of the AMP makes any difference, but it does a great job at moderate levels. I thought it might "open up" after a few hours of use and perhaps my ears are not golden enough to hear that this did happen, but it sounded fine right out of the box and continues to sound great after many dozens of hours.
