Used on old sony camcorder to try out some 49mm black and white filters, I had from old school film days, with the sony - ccd-trv138 - set to Black and white - wow! vids look like old tri-X film come to life!

I am a college student who has worked with black and white photography since high school. I had never heard of Ilford until I took my college photography classes and had used a different brand, whose name escapes me, until then. The difference was unbelievable. The prints that I get from the paper are always great quality. My only complaint is when I initially take the water off the prints before I lay them to dry, the corners are sensitive and are prone to peeling and ripping. Other than that, Ilford is the only way to go!
