Let me start with the barn door spring tension design they develop for the LUXLI Timpani 2. It fits the Timpani so elegantly and effectively. To remove is even faster and it doesn't leave marks on the light's body. Very impressed. The construction is all metal and the barn door can be tightened in the future if you use it a lot. The way it came, no adjustment was necessary. The barn doors stay where you leave them. The barn doors do the job for what a barn doors set of this size does. But if you need to block even more light spill, a company named Angler makes a softbox for the Timpani 2 and also make the grid for it sold separately if you are also interested. BH #ANLEDSBG1818.
