Had to jump on their Black Friday special on this one and I’m glad I did! Although my 2015 Pro was “still good,” this 14 is light years ahead. I’m mainly an office worker paper push but I do some work on the side for my automotive lifestyle brand so I needed to upgrade to run some of the newer creative apps and tools. I’ve only used it for a day but the experience is amazing and I’m sure it’ll be for a long time. Screen is crystal clear and the speakers just blew me away! I also want to give B&H some props because their customer service and packaging/shipping is awesome, even for me out here all the way in Guam. Thank you!

Incredible value at Black Friday pricing. Main menu UI is outdated but as a player it works very well. HDR optimizer is great, but didn’t seem to be enabled by default. I encourage new owners to go through their settings properly. There is only one issue which is that it’s way, way too easy to accidentally press the Netflix button on the remote when navigating menus, interrupting playback and taking ages to load, and then even longer to get back to the movie. If only the player was able to re-encode DTS to Dolby, it would be perfect, as many popular soundbars don’t support DTS at all. Notably you can choose to output DTS as PCM, but even 5.1ch DTS-HD seems to be output as 2ch PCM (at least with my gear), which is a bit of a downgrade.

DVD Player

Used as an external/portable CD/DVD player/burner for several machines. Is instantly recognized by Windows 7 and is available for use in a matter of a few seconds after being plugged in. It needs two USB ports but no other external power source.

I have a one-year-old CD/DVD portable player and I wear hearing aids so I must use headphones when I use the device. However, the output of the player coupled with the weak output of my headphones was anemic. I decided to splurge and buy these and I can honestly say this is the best investment in ME that I've made in a long time. The description of this SONY MDR 7506 says it will provide a louder output than the less expensive headphones that I had been using, and the ad was correct. Instead of turning up the CD/DVD player all the way up and having to strain to hear much, I can now comfortably listen with the player output at half its output. I don't know how SONY did it but the sound is remarkable and very clear. Way to go BH for selling it. PW/SARASOTA Florida

This was a recommended accessory for an RCA portable TV/DVD player. Fits very well. Well made for the money. It also fits my ipad. A good general purpose case.

I used this to connect a portable DVD player to our television. For some reason, an ordinary 3-connector, male-to-male RCA cable did not work. However, when I used this red/white audio-only cable alongside a separate yellow video-only cable, everything worked just fine.

I bought this for my portable DVD player and very glad I did. This makes carrying my DVD player very simple and safe from bumps when it is on the floor of my car. My player fits in the sleeve very easy and has a great zipper and a two strap handle that will last.
