Black Gaming Headphones

My son loves these headphones for his gaming and music.

The smaller headphones are much more comfortable for me. I like that I have an option besides the black or gray.

I bought this for my son on his birthday. We’ve had other gaming headphones that I though we’re good, But when I used them ... wow it was superior sound. I might buy a set for me now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the monitor for mostly gaming purposes but I do use it to stream videos and movies. I love how good the resolution is on it. Has a beautiful colorful picture and the black are black. For theoney I would recommend it to anyone.

I use this for everything one would use a mic for. Skype calls, gaming, podcasting, music recording, etc. It works phenomenally for all of these activities. The Blue Yeti, which is the upgraded version of this product, is a little better and has a few more features. But the Snowball is absolutely the best microphone you can get in this price range. It's not just good for its price range, it's good in general. Solidly built, great stand, great sound quality. The only possible complaint I can think of is that the USB cable is ugly. This doesn't matter, since it can easily be replaced with any miniUSB cable, but it would've been nice to get a black cable with the black model.

The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Unlike normal LED screens that go to a dark gray when displaying black, this monitor achieves true black by turning the pixels all the way off. This contrast creates a more vivid and immersive viewing experience. The HDR support further enhances the color, making games and videos look even more lifelike. The monitor itself is massive compared to my old one, which means I can only run one monitor due to the size of my desk. But honestly, with a screen this impressive, I don't feel like I need a second monitor. One of the standout features is the 240Hz display. This high refresh rate lets my new beefy computer perform at its best, allowing for up to 240 frames per second. My old monitor could only handle 144Hz, so the jump to 240Hz has made gaming incredibly smooth. The difference in gameplay is noticeable, especially in high-impact games where graphics are a key selling point. The monitor also comes with its own USB output, which is super handy for plugging in a charger directly. Another great feature is the onboard media center, allowing me to install apps like Netflix and stream shows with the same stunning color quality and fidelity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this monitor because I needed something to take up less desktop space and to have good specs for gaming. Having 3 inputs allows me to change up the type of gaming or productivity I want to do albeit computer or gaming console. Going through some performance tests I found that the detail and sharpness are excellent. There are no breaks or banding in the color gradients and no dead pixels going through your primary colors (black, white, red, green, and blue). Brightness in the colors are uniform across the screen with no shadowing on the edges that I have found. When displaying similar colors you can still differentiate between the objects they represent. Back to gradients again, the transition is very smooth and does not show blocks or bars within the colors. Text is effortless to read with white on black or black on white without having to strain my eyes. The viewing angle is very good when looking from the sides and does not distort any imagery being shown. Last but not least the response time, when I ran it through some of the games I play I did notice a big difference with how jittery my old monitor was compared to the Armada. The Armada was very smooth while moving around in-game, zooming in on menus, and snapping to different points of texture. Along with that gaming aspect you can opt to turn on a crosshair to reference a specific point in your game while being able to change the color and change the position of where to put the crosshair which I found to come in handy for those moments needing to hip fire. The monitor arm was very easy to mount on my desk using the clamp style(does come with pieces to mount into your desk for a more permanent solution) and adapters to allow a higher mounting position. Easy to lift and lower, rotate portrait or landscape, and cable guides to hold out of the way.

I'm a professional audio engineer who owns a lot of headphones, but I also game in my free time. I tend to like Beyerdynamic cans for work but they can be fatiguing in a gaming environment with the din of war blaring. The X2 is very pleasant and smooth without abandoning accuracy. The depth of soundstage is remarkable. Tonal balance is even handed. They lack the subtle compression you get from most cans so you feel encouraged to turn them up, which is no problem because they are so smooth in the top end. Pair them with a vmoda boom pro for gaming. Well suited for mixing too. And, probably the best cans for the money when it comes to just enjoying music.

I was playing sports video games like FIFA and it felt like I was really in the stadium. Other video games were equally as great. You could hear the faintest of sounds and this made the louder sounds even more intense. The sound quality is great and the microphone is equally as great. Anybody I played with online had an easy time hearing me. The gaming headset is super easy to setup and use as well. The wire-free set up is great and allows you to walk around without having to take off your headset or bring your controller. The battery life is also long and something I appreciate. The headset is very easy to use and has convenient volume controls right on the headset. Perhaps an underrated feature of this headset, is the ability to have great sound without disturbing anybody. You can play video games without annoying anyone else in the room. Also, I used these headphones to watch TV/movies on my gaming console without waking up anyone in my house like I used to when using my TV speakers. Lastly, these are very comfortable! I wore them for hours and never once experienced discomfort. I usually do not like over the ear headphones so the fact I never had any problems and actually enjoyed wearing these shows how comfortable they are! I could not recommend this product enough!
