Black Laminate Countertop Sheets

I needed an accurate countertop trimmer for sizes up to 11x14. The TG-110 seems to fill the bill. I often do multiple small size photographs on sheets that are 8.5x11 and 11.7x16.5. This trimmer makes perfectly square cuts effortlessly. After years of using a guillotine cutter, I'm more than happy with this Carl. My wife liked it so much when it first arrived that I gave it to her and ordered a second one for myself. If you're looking for a cutter for single sheets of photo inkjet paper, I recommend this one. 5 |

You could look all this stuff up online, print it, then laminate it yourself, or you could just spend $5. 5 |

This is just great media which will give the best results and to laminate as well. Can't say enough about the quality it is just the best, 5 |

I make contact sheets and prints with the paper. Great paper for black and white film photography. 5 |

I used it to make large prints for a class. 16x20. So which paper to choose was a major issue. I wanted something that would tone well and a surface that would be good for painting, selective bleaching and tinting. A blasted fire alarm revealed a huge strobe light hidden in the darkroom. A print was in the developer. I washed and saved that print. Outstanding velvet black matte surface, so I was convinced I made a good choice. It is expensive, but you can get the same paper in 8x10 to use for proofs and test strips. I wish the box were deeper, there is little overlap and you have to be super careful about trusting just the box and not keeping all sheets in the black bag inside even for short periods in the darkroom. If the white lights come on the box alone even well closed may not protect the sheets not inside the black plastic bag provided. You also have to be careful about those dark yellow safelights they recommend for multigrade paper. The longer development times for fiber based paper can lead to fog in the tray if you are not very careful. Testing is recommended to determine safe exposure time to your safelight and if you need to reduce the exposure. It seems to be an easy paper to fog. The 6 inch filters from Ilford worked very well with this paper. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a laserjet printer from a different brand for 10 years now and I decided that it's time to upgrade. Compared to my old laser printer, this is a color laser printer. The old one is only for black and white. The set up and installation is pretty simple and fast. It has a colored 5 inch color touchscreen that enables the use to operate the printer easily. It can hold up to 250 sheets of paper on the tray and 50 sheets for the multi-purpose tray. It is fast and doesn't make a loud noise while printing. It prints up to 35 pages per minute in black and color. You can also print straight from your phone. You can connect to Wi-Fi for cable free connectivity and a USB 2.0 slot is availble as well in case a Wi-Fi connection is not available. My only complaint about it is that it is big, heavy and bulky. But it is not a deal breaker. Because it looks strong and sturdy. All in all I am very happy with my new printer! 5 |

We have never developed color nor black and white film. On our first try at developing 4x5 color sheets taken on our 1903 Gundlach bellows camera, with the help of stable 102 degree temperature resulting from the CS Temperature Control System TCS-1000 and the Cinestill powder color simplified two bath process chemicals, our photos came out perfectly. Having never developed film, the directions on the package were easy to follow. 5 |

The truth is you can use 8' sheets of 1" thick polystyrene with one side black and the other white for less than the cost of shipping these scrims but they are not very transparent and absolutely not easily transported. I have used such scrims for years. These Manfrotto scrims come with a variety of very high quality fabrics, which are easily changed and are pulled very tight by the clipping system. Highly recommended but please lower the price to something reasonable, Manfrotto. 5 |

I use these archival binders to store my black and white negatives, slides, contact sheets and more. Archival, because if you've followed archival film processing methods, you don't want that undermined by not then employing an archival storage method. The loose leaf style rings mate nicely with the holes in my archival pages, and the dimensions of the binder provide clearance for the widest pages. Most of my binders are black, but since the white ones are less expensive, and always in stock, I usually buy them. A possible detriment might be if the white ones were in a bright environment, as this might allow an amount of light to reach the negatives that would be less than optimal. However, the black ones, in a bright area receiving sun light, might generate heat, and that would definitely impact negatives negatively. No worries. They also come in gray, so one could have a color coded storage system -- say white for contact sheets, gray for negatives, and black for color. The binders are sturdy and may be stacked one upon the other, or placed vertically in a bookshelf. 5 |
