Black Magic Cinema Camera Good For Low Light

We upgraded to the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k because of our need for a better low-light video camera. The old camera delivered too much grain to the video in even the best of circumstances. The Black Magic camera, though, has dual ISO which allowed us to find the perfect settings to capture crisp and clear hi-res video.

I use several of these with my Black Magic Cinema Cameras and have never had any issues.

For any videographer that is looking into dabbling into 2k and above... The Rokinon Cine Lens set is a must have. Stop researching and just buy the series. I use Black Magic Cinema cameras and the Rokinon 16mm MFT marries perfectly with my Pocket Cinema Camera, though it does make it a little top heavy, but honestly, it wont effect usability. Ive been using the 16mm (as well as the rest of the Rokinon Cine Series Lenses) for music videos and event photography lately, and they have amazing quality, even in run and gun situations with varying light situations. Low light is pretty good at t2.2 and will get the job done, however, I suggest using the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 for low light situations. The Sigma compliments the Rokinon series well in my experience anyways, so having it in your arsenal beside the Rokinon Cine Series is a good investment. I love using this lens when shooting in RAW CinemaDNG format. Attached is a self portrait, using the Rokinon 16mm at T2.2 with the Black Magic Pocket Camera in RAW. Affordable. Quality. User Friendly. Nice Design. Works well for photography also. Compliments on the Lens when I am out and about. What more could you ask for? A must have lens for any 2.5k and above Cinematographer looking for a Lens that can handle high quality Portrait shots that produce an excellent Cinematic feel to it.

I purchased the lens to use with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera. It is a really nice lens. Very well built. It is a little heavy, but I like that.

Bought this lens for my Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k. Works very well. If you hit the auto-focus button it gets right on for whatever scene you are shooting. Sharp enough to match the 12-35 on my GH5 when putting clips together. You can't beat it for the price IMO.

I got this head to use exclusively with my Black Magic Cinema 4k camera on a Shark slider. Very smooth and Manfrotto has really improved on the bridging design from my other larger head. The only oddity is with the cover plate for the tilt drag adjustment: it's printed upside down. See photo. Otherwise, no issues what-so-ever!

This lens is amazing it’s very sharp but also it goes very well with the black magic pocket cinema camera 4K as well as with a black pro mist filter. These lenses I would recommend to anyone who wants a lens that’s going to be really sharp but also be able to get an amazing image using various forms of filters

I recently moved from the Panasonic GH5 and Black magic pocket cinema and the Sony as7iii is by FAR my favorite camera. The autofocus is definitely one of my favorite things about the camera as well as the color profile. Really allows me to get that cinematic look.

We recently bought this card to be used with the new Black Magic Design URSA Cinema Camera. We shoot raw at 4K so speed was a big factor. To date the card has performed flawlessly. Its priced right too compared to other Cfast card brands. We highly recommend it.
