This is any travel speaker, it goes by the pool, river and hotels and never misses a beat, even when it falls in the water.

Took it on my Devil's River trip in TX. There were other members of our team that had different types of SAT communicators. As soon as the weather got bad and clouds came in all of their coms could reach out to our outfitter for pickup except the inReach Mini 2. Clouds and weather didn't phase it at all. I was able to reach the outfitter in minutes and get us out. Battery life was impressive, most definitely could've used it the entire trip on one charge. Rugged and waterproof 100%. One thing I wish it had was a scroll or easier way to scroll.

Note: B&H doesn't ever seem to keep this in stock so I actually got it from a place that is named after a river that rhymes with smammazon. ;-) Great VND. Has way less color cast when stopping down than the Canon VND and seems to actually have good IR filtering as well. Stopping down with the Canon will leave your black shirts looking redish while the Meike leaves the shirts black. Would recommend. Using with RED Komodo.

I bought this pouch along with a black one. Brought them with me on vacation in Florida under a very hot summer weather (90 to 98 degrees). Brought them to the pool, wet them, dragged them around and they took it like a champ. They feel and are very sturdy and well made. to my surprise they fit the iPhone 6, a PNY 2600 Battery Pack and the iphone cable. The only thing that that is a little disappointed, although not a deal breaker, is that my black pouch seemed slightly smaller. Great buy and quality product at a super fair price. Super happy I bought those.

Black Lion did a great job on the PG-2. We have been having some weather down here in Florida. Record numbers of lightning strikes and I couldn't feel more secure knowing my gear is plugged in to this guy. I don't find the power button to be too loose. It's small, and I can't imagine hitting it accidentally. I especially like the pairs of outlets broken up into Digital, Analog, and High Current. My only wish list items would be a pair of USB-C charging ports on the front instead of USB-A. But its all good. maybe on the next round. Great job BLA!

I was not disappointed with my photos on River Trips which allows me wide angle views of the both banks and the variations within a river like river turns and whitewater action in shallows. Coupled with closeups of other kayak(s) and their paddler(s), has made it a fast action response to brief opportunties to record events. Protected by a conforming sized ice chest.
