Connected a Levono laptop to a Samsung monitor and it worked perfectly. Buy one!

My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good.

The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Another great feature is the onboard media center, allowing me to install apps like Netflix and stream shows with the same stunning color quality and fidelity. Overall, gaming on the Samsung 32” Odyssey OLED G8 is a dream. The combination of true black, HDR support, and 240Hz refresh rate makes every game look better and run smoother than ever before. If you're looking for a top-tier gaming monitor, this one is definitely worth considering.

I used this cable to connect my laptop to the display port in a Samsung 21:9 Monitor. Working exactly as I expected. No issues.

I recently also bought a Samsung UHD monitor from B & H to use with my laptop, and though the monitor includes an HDMI cable, a friend recommended my buying the Mini DisplayPort Adapter Cable for even higher quality than the HDMI. Not only was it inexpensive, it definitely makes a worthwhile difference in sharper and richer picture quality, and would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to improve their monitor picture quality.
