Blackmagic Camera Comparison Chart

Fast, clear chart.

I have tried several remotes and this one tops the chart.

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

I think this is a must for Leica Q3 owners and I would update the compatibility chart with something like “partial compatibility”. The minor issues around the SD card slot are pretty inconsequential given the Q3 supports transferring photos over USB and the FOTOS app. Holding the camera with the clutch and replacing the default strap with the leash is a huge quality of life improvement. Could not imagine using a Q camera without the clutch now.

I have been using a MacBeth Color Checker for years. I'm doing a few multi-camera shoots. We have had problems matching the color of the different cameras, as well as getting a good color balance. I wanted a similar color chart that was durable and easily transported to shoot locations. This was just what I needed. It is consisted of special silk screened color patches that are precisely made for consistency. The charts are replaceable and reversible for other options, all in a book like case. I think the case is a metallic looking plastic, but helps protect the charts inside. The book closes securely, but is easy to open. It has a 1/4 /20 thread on the bottom and a 1/4 /20 threaded attachment on the top so it can be attached to a light stand. I usually just have someone hold it. Just make sure they keep their fingers off the colored squares so they don't contaminate the surface. It also has a fade indicator so you know when to replace the color charts if they get faded due to being exposed to too much sunlight. The key is to shoot it with each camera under the same lighting conditions. Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve has a feature that will use the chart to match the colors and color match all the cameras. I also use the second grey square as my click balance when using just one camera. It works well and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Does the job. I find myself using a white card to set my camera's internal WB and then using the color chart in post to do the fine tune the color. It's a firm plastic, comes with a cheap strap (which i don't use). It's smaller than you think. Still great

I am an amateur photographer who uses a $ camera for a variety of photography subjects. The Color Chart by DGK is in my price range for tools to improve my photographs.My desk top photography colors appeared way off with currently available household light bulbs (CFL, LED and a GE Reveal incandescent bulbs.) Using the Color Chart by DGK I was able to select a pair of 5500K CFLs that my camera's Auto White Balance can work with. I cannot see the difference between the card's gray and color blocks when photographed in the sun or under the CFL's. I will be using this Color Chart to verify my camera can adjust for different light sources before spending time taking a bunch of off color photos.Great: Low Price, big enough to show up prominently in test photos and works great for evaluation of light sources.Not so great: I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the Color Chart by DGK.
