Blackmagic Camera Full Setup

Used it in a Blackmagic setup.

I've been waiting for this cage to be in stock to finally get one for my blackmagic cinema camera 6k full frame. It works really well and I'm happy with it.

I used it for my SmallRig Full Cage for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro. it is super-steady and gives a professional look. It allows you to grab the camera in more ways and basically I use it all the time.

I use this tripod with a large and somewhat heavy Matterport camera and a Blackmagic cinema camera setup. It is perfectly stable and for these roles. It’s on the heavy side of tripods in general. But it is SOLID! Great purchase for the money.

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

I've found this recorder is much more useful than a wireless lav setup since you don't need to mess around getting a signal into your camera. On a full battery you can record all day. As a director I use a loud whistle, hanging around my neck, to signal the beginning of a scene. These spikes in volume are easy to spot in DAW or a video editing timeline.

Wonderful camera with easy setup. The full color night vision works incredible. I using the free version of their video management software with a core i3 12100 processor which is plenty for the 6 cameras I have around my house.. Although a bit tricky to setup at first, everything has worked smoothly.

I have a full camera rig setup for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k. The dual swivel on both ends of this HDMI cable makes it ideal for cable management, especially when the HDMI port for the field monitor is on the left side and the monitor it is mounted to the left of the camera/lens. You can wrap the cable flush against the surface of the monitor and don't have to worry as much about damaging the HDMI port on the camera or monitor if the cable gets accidentally jerked. I have several of these cables now. One runs from the camera to a 4-port powered HDMI splitter and then from the splitter to the viewfinder, focus monitor and wireless transmitters.
