Blackmagic Camera Mapping Projector Choice

This is a bright - lightweight and solid projector to work with. Using it for projection mapping and I really love it so far.

Bought this Blu-Ray player for 3 reasons. 1) Tone mapping from HDR content to SDR for my 4k Projector. 2) HDR settings for my LG CX OLED TV. 3) The ability to use Dolby Vision. All 3 reasons where met, and it has brought new life into my Projector in particular. Before I was using an Xbox. Compared to the Xbox this player seems slightly snappier and I have yet to have a delay in reading a disk like I sometimes had on the Xbox. I expect I will be collecting physical media of my favorite movies for some time to come. Even when streaming catches up with Blu-Ray bitrate or uses better compression formats, it still has the problem of not actually being yours. All companies rise and fall and eventually every cloud will be run differently or replaced. Some of those changes will not be smooth. Con: wish it had backlit remote.

Ran cable from a video camera to a projector. Converted the projector end to HDMI via Blackmagic Design SDI to HDMI 6G Mini Converter. The cable is a little stiff, but I kind of expected this for a good quality SDI cable. Video quality was excellent.

I use it to route a computer monitor output to an HD-SDI input on a projector. The Blackmagic converter works flawlessly.

I use this product to implement LUT's between my Blackmagic card and my projector. As colorist it's a great LUT BOX, this one is cheap and easy to use. You can bypass the LUT on SDI output to go on a vectorscope for example. You can preload 2 LUTs into the Ternax and switch between them easily. It's piloted via RJ45.

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

I am powering my GFX100S in an aircraft for aerial mapping use. This power supply gives my camera endless power while doing aerial mapping missions in the aircraft. Great product.

So far I have been loving the A7 iv, Pictures look great! Right out of the box the color looks great, especially with Sony lenses... the 90mm macro is a dream come true, the features like focus mapping are really nice- but watch out, some lenses can't use it. for example my new SIRUI anamorphic 50mm does not work with focus mapping, but focus peaking does work so its not a deal breaker. speaking of which, paired with the small rig cage and follow focus this anamorphic lens looks amazing when shot in Slog3 and LUTS applied in DaVinci Resolve, so cinematic! The camera body is surprisingly light and I really like the shorty light weight lenses like the 28-60mm kit lens, total package is so small and light you can just sling it and go for a hike, no bag needed. This is my first full frame camera and I'm in love. No regrets at all!
