Blackmagic Camera Netflix

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

Loving this as my first starter camera. Is Netflix ready and isn't to complicated to get rolling and learn on. Has simple setting and becomes and easy rig to get up and running in matter of minutes. I shoot small independent films and skits for streaming and so far it hasn't let me down. Light easy to replace if $$ broken and has a been 0 issue camera so far. I'm glad I started here with a full frame box camera and moved away from the smaller sensors. I wanted something with a full sensor to capture nice big shots with a lot of space and so far I've been loving the empty space I have to play with. I'm very new to the industry so I'll most likely update this after I've had it up and running for a year or so! More to come!

You have to know what you're buying with this camera -- sure, it's the only Netflix-approved micro 4/3 camera and the same awesome video quality as GH5s in a body that is streamlined for video – but you have to know going in that you will need some kind of monitor attached to set or view anything. The Ethernet, Wifi, and Bluetooth are incredibly versatile, but it does take some getting used to that you can't touch a touchscreen to set the focus area, for example. How versatile? As soon as I connected it by Wifi, my whole home network was able to see and control it. I didn't try Ethernet, but I imagine it is the same and a lot faster. I LOVE that it sends both SDI and HDMI at the same time. It has mounting points all over the place -- this is amazing! You do have to experiment/plan so that you can reach the various buttons and controls, but this is easy. I'm still putting it through its paces, but I can say wholeheartedly that it delivers on what it promises, especially in low light and the V-Log L profile. I plan to buy a lot more of these for multi-cam use.

This is by far, the best camera I have ever owed. This is the camera you need if you shoot in low light. It's beyond amazing. You have to use it to believe it. I can shoot in near pitch dark and it looks like something our of Netflix movie. I don't think I'm exaggerating by saying that this is the definitive choice for low-light shooting. If you shoot with no extra lighting, this camera is a lifesaver for shots. Just bump up the past 12,800 and you have a whole new range to work with when shooting in log. There are too many things to mention, but I will say one more thing. You can record slow motion like no other. Rolling shutter is basically non-existent with this camera. There's a reason why this is such a sought-after camera.

This camera is one tough, high-quality camera; as it should for being Netflix approved! This camera has shot college football, weddings, minor league baseball, tons of shoots, and has never let me down. The stabilization, colors, menu system, and multi pivot, tilting screen are amazing. If you need a robust, high-quality mirrorless full-frame camera... Then look no further!!!
