I purchased this to road test the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Leica mount). It's early days yet, but the performance has been flawless at all speeds and resolutions tested. True, the card does get extremely warm to the touch, but at least in my case that hasn't resulted in errors or performance issues. I'll keep testing over time, but thus far I'm very satisfied. 5 |

I did the Blackmagic speed test and I got roughly the advertised speed at ~2600mbps which is about half of the speed that my MacBook Pro internal hard drive gets. That's also about 20 times faster than my old Lacie Rugged external hard drive which felt fast at the time I purchased it! 5 |

I tested these cards with Blackmagic Disk Speed test and they reached 600 MB/s, but that may have been a bottleneck in my computer or card reader (also ProGrade). Nonetheless, these cards work great in my Sony Alpha 1 and allow me to use all video modes and codecs. The stills buffer clears way faster than SD UHS-II cards as well. These cards are still pricey but at least they're undercutting the Sony CFA cards. 5 |
