Blackmagic Camera Test Footage

.. I just get it from B&H and shoot some test with my Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, and I like the result !!!

I needed a storage dock to transfer SSD footage from my Blackmagic Cinema Camera to my external hard drive. The Rocketstor storage dock has been a simple, efficient solution for me. Just connect a thunderbolt cable and you can transfer about 50 GB in 11 minutes. Not bad! As a filmmaker, it is the perfect intermediate to set up for post production. Using multiple SSD cards, I can continue shooting while the footage downloads. I highly recommend it for indie filmmakers who are working on a smaller scale.

I purchased this to road test the new Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Leica mount). It's early days yet, but the performance has been flawless at all speeds and resolutions tested. True, the card does get extremely warm to the touch, but at least in my case that hasn't resulted in errors or performance issues. I'll keep testing over time, but thus far I'm very satisfied.

This IR CUT filter from HOYA is a great piece of gear to insure you don't get the red bleed into your blacks when using your ND filter.... and let me say, it WORKS SPECTACULARLY!!! Working with the BlackMagic line of cameras, you run into the dreaded Red Bleed on any daylight footage with blacks in it. It can destroy your footage... but this IR CUT filter solves the issue PERFECTLY in camera guaranteeing you get the image you want and don't have nightmares to deal with in post. If you are using BlackMagic Cameras... or any other brands for that matter, make this a part of your kit. HIGHLT Recommend!!!

I'm using this tiny little SSD to record RAW footage on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K. Amazing it can keep up with the writing speed needed to record so much data... but it does. Comes with a little rigging device which I found very handy.

I bought this lens for my Blackmagic 4K, and I love the quality footage it produces. You can't beat the price for such a fast cine lens! It's well-built, too.

It does the job with my Blackmagic. I would not use any third party in my camera.

This is an amazing quality machine. It more then meets my expectaions in every way. I have taken some test footage and like the clarity and picture quality. I can't wait to do some real video with it. It just efals like a quality camcorder in your hands

The DOF is beautiful on this lens when you can leave the aperture wide open. I've done some test footage but can't wait to apply this bad boy to my next projects!

The first of many Rokinons I will be buying this year. Having fun shooting test footage with it right now and am impressed with what I can pick up thus far. If you're getting into filming or rebuilding your equipment list after a tumultuous few years, this is a descent starter.
