Blackmagic Camera Video Footage

I needed a storage dock to transfer SSD footage from my Blackmagic Cinema Camera to my external hard drive. The Rocketstor storage dock has been a simple, efficient solution for me. Just connect a thunderbolt cable and you can transfer about 50 GB in 11 minutes. Not bad! As a filmmaker, it is the perfect intermediate to set up for post production. Using multiple SSD cards, I can continue shooting while the footage downloads. I highly recommend it for indie filmmakers who are working on a smaller scale.

This IR CUT filter from HOYA is a great piece of gear to insure you don't get the red bleed into your blacks when using your ND filter.... and let me say, it WORKS SPECTACULARLY!!! Working with the BlackMagic line of cameras, you run into the dreaded Red Bleed on any daylight footage with blacks in it. It can destroy your footage... but this IR CUT filter solves the issue PERFECTLY in camera guaranteeing you get the image you want and don't have nightmares to deal with in post. If you are using BlackMagic Cameras... or any other brands for that matter, make this a part of your kit. HIGHLT Recommend!!!

I bought it to see if I could get some fair in camera audio for my Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K using a Tascam DR-100MKII as a microphone for some interviews. I'm really tired of capturing audio with an external audio recorder, then finding the audio clip, synchronizing with video and repeating the process in post. I wanted to try to get in camera audio even if that means to deal with some messy cables from my camera. So this Hosa Technology REAN 3.5mm TRS to Dual 1/4 TS Pro Cable was the best solution I could find. In camera audio quality was fair if you place the Tascam about 3 feet away from the talent, I'm pretty sure an audio technician can get even better results as I'm more about video. In post you can enhance what you captured eliminating the white noise. You can also use the cable to attach it to wireless audio receiver it works ways better with a Lavalier system.

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is an amazing video camera for the price. The BMPCC 4K has a lot of high-end features for a compact body will sacrificing other components and features. I can highly recommend it and I promise you won't regret getting one of these for your production.

I had a few other monitors and I found that the Blackmagic video assist is by far the best for the price .

Use with Blackmagic video cards and it works well.

I'm using this tiny little SSD to record RAW footage on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K. Amazing it can keep up with the writing speed needed to record so much data... but it does. Comes with a little rigging device which I found very handy.

I bought this lens for my Blackmagic 4K, and I love the quality footage it produces. You can't beat the price for such a fast cine lens! It's well-built, too.

This is an awesome camera for video and vlogging! It shoots crispy footage and is very lightweight. Perfect for someone who wants to vlog but also has the specs to do well in most video situations.
