This card works without a hitch in the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, which I still love and use. It gives me half-a-terabyte, which is astounding. I can record raw all day with no problem. And it is dirt cheap! Half a terabyte! Astounding.

i actually did quite a bit of research before buying this card. i just got a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k, and needed a memory card that could store footage at 6k resolution and give me sufficient recording time for short video projects. will need additional storage eventually but a good staple item!

So far, so good. I've used this card in a Nikon Z6iii and Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera 6k Full Frame. This card is a fantastic value, considering it's the new 4.0 spec. I've had no issues with dropped frames on the BMC6k in 6k open gate RAW 3:1 or the buffer filling on my Nikon Z6iii. The speed test is taken on my M3 Max 16 MBP using the OWC Atlas CFexpress type B card reader. I think the results are a limitation of my Thunderbolt port and not the card itself.

I bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. Many cards only list the read speed up to xxxMB/s, but they don't tell you the write speed which is critical for raw video recording. This card is comparable in performance to the much more expensive Scandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SD cards. And I can confirm it works properly with the original BMPCC, which is very picky about which SD card it supports. I used Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on Macbook Pro to test the read and write speed of this particular card, and here are the results averaged over multiple runs: - Write speed: 83.6MB/s - Read speed: 89.0MB/s I shot video at 1080p30 Cinema DNG Raw in the BMPCC OG and there seems to be no missing frames so far. I plan to buy more of these cards for my longer video features. Overall a highly recommended product for these type of high bandwidth HD video needs.
