Blackmagic Design Production Camera 4K Frame Rates

.. I just get it from B&H and shoot some test with my Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, and I like the result !!!

Love the new design over the a73. New bit rates and 4k frame rates are a big improvement. I love the larger size of the body too!

PROS - Multiple Frame Rates, Variable Frame Rates - 4K DCI 120P! - Multiple Resolutions up to 4K DCI - Multiple Codecs (H264, H265, ProRes and Raw in the future) - Ergonomics - Easy to rig - Simple Menu navigation and Function buttons - Great Dynamic Range. WDR, FLAT, REC709, ZLOG2 - Great AF - Dual/Triple ISOs - Awesome in low light! - Amazing Battery life using NPF style batteries - Great Audio, comes with Mini XLR - Wifi works great for complete menu/settings using iPhone and iPad for directors monitor. - External SSD for Media recording storage - Amazing customer service. This is number one really since CEO and Engineers listen to their customers, take notes and feedbacks. - Company always doing constant updates and adding more features in camera. CONS - No IBIS but it is not a big deal, I can work without it but it would be great feature. - Weight, a little on the heavy side but the camera is built like a tank, all aluminum body, very strong build, doesnt feel cheap. Weight is not a biggie. You just cant go wrong with the price. It is an amazing camera with great features. Very cinematic images and out performs other major camera brands.

It's nice to make that leap from shooting on a DSLR to working with the Blackmagic Production 4K camera. It makes the transition even easier when I'm able to use all the batteries I've accumulated over the years. Also, being able to plug in sound with XLR inputs is a HUGE bonus.

Using this on a 28-300 Canon attached to a BlackMagic production 4K camera. So nice to not have to go into the menu to adjust for light settings when you can just spin this up or down.

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is an amazing video camera for the price. The BMPCC 4K has a lot of high-end features for a compact body will sacrificing other components and features. I can highly recommend it and I promise you won't regret getting one of these for your production.

Used with Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K this lens works very well. the fisheye effect is nice and fills the frame (shooting 4K 4096x2160). Image is sharp to the edges, and focus is very forgiving. If you have the lens hood installed you will see it on the edges of the frame, but it is easily removed while shooting.

I use this to work with my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K camera and Sony F series Battery Holder from Smallrig, it works well!

B&H made it easy for me to highly recommend the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/Pro I attached a Vintage Canon 50mm f/1.4mm lens with a speedbooster and it took some amazing shots. I wrapped my camera in a Tilta Rig with the SmallRig Battery Mount and SmallRig Matte Box Mini. I can say that the BlackMagic did it's thing with this one. I thought that in this juncture in my professional career I need to did my toe in and put the forever low-light grainy Panasonic AG-150A down. So I purchased me a st of snap cards and I'm not looking back. Next Up a case and possibly a few more glass.
