Blackmagic Pocket Camera Canon Lenses

I use this as an adapter for my Blackmagic Cinema Pocket Camera which allows me to use my Canon mount Rokinon Cine Lenses. Since the lenses are fully manual, I can manage the aperture and focus with no electronics. For me it is a perfect solution for using these lenses.

With this adapter I'm able to use my EF-S lenses for my Blackmagic pocket cinema camera.

When I bought my Blackmagic pocket 4k, I knew I would want to use my canon lenses on it but didn't want to spend an insane amount of money on a metabones. Looking around I came upon this an was skeptical. it seemed too good to be true. Well I took a risk and I can say im very impressed. Having the benefit of using my EF glass along with an extra F stop is crazy! Using my 50 1.8 on my 80D I can get 1.3 on my pocket 4k, which is nuts! The conversion is very sharp as well, more than I expected. My only complaint about it is I cannot seem to get the lenses to enable auto focus on my pocket 4k. Besides that, its a great buy and I can recommend it to anyone using the bmpcc4k. P.S: only supports EF, not EF /s lenses.

If you own a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, and Nikon lenses, this product is a must. I own the original Speedbooster for M4/3, but this one produces even better results. Just as sturdy and well constructed as the original, this new BMPCC speedbooster will allow you to use even more of your lens area. I use it with the Nikon mounted versions of the Rokinon lens set (8mm, 16mm, 24mm, 36mm & 85mm)and they all work perfectly. The images are are brighter and sharper. Sharper? Yes, two reasons. One, you can stop down more because more light is coming in while not effecting DOF because (again) you've seeing more of the image. Two, your squeezing more of the frame down onto the sensor. See attached sample. This little gem takes the BMPCC to a whole new level.

I use this adapter with my B4 ENG lenses on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with pretty great results, especially when stopped down to f5.6 for that sharp image.It's well built and very easy to use. The only downside about it is that it is mainly only for the BMPCC and Fotodiox really do need to produce a similar product for the Panasonic GH4. Olympus OM-D and also maybe the new Samsung NX1.Here is some test footage I supplied to -------

This bag has plenty of space for my Blackmagic cinema pocket camera plus lenses, batteries, audio gear, and accessories. I can keep the camera assembled in a cage with the lens and accessories attached and there's still plenty of room for other stuff.

I bought this lens adapter to use EOS lenses on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. I was interested in this model particularly because it has the manual iris built in. When using EOS lenses I am forced to set the aperture wide open on a Canon DSLR and have no way of stopping down. With this adapter I gain this function. The ring is smooth and easy to adjust and everything mounts solidly. Some people had complained about vignetting on their m43 cameras with this adapter but I have had 0 problems with that on the BMPCC. Its a great tool for someone who can't afford the high cost of the EOS to m43 Speedbooster with active mount, but still needs control over how much light is getting to the sensor (everyone).

For EF Lenses these are a must have for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with Micro four thirds mounts in order to adjust the F stop.

I purchased this adapter to use my old 16mm C-Mount lenses on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The adapter itself is rather simple but that's all you need for C-Mount lenses. The construction is solid, the threading is smooth and the adapter fits tightly on my camera without any wiggle.

Love this bag. Perfect for my Blackmagic 6K Pocket Cinema Camera with Cage and long Canon servo cinema zoom lens. Zippers are high quality which is super important to me. Don't buy cheap bags they just don't last. Been there done that. Highly recommend this item. Cheers! W. Oliver
