I use this as an adapter for my Blackmagic Cinema Pocket Camera which allows me to use my Canon mount Rokinon Cine Lenses. Since the lenses are fully manual, I can manage the aperture and focus with no electronics. For me it is a perfect solution for using these lenses. 5 |

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is an amazing video camera for the price. The BMPCC 4K has a lot of high-end features for a compact body will sacrificing other components and features. Used with Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K this lens works very well. the fisheye effect is nice and fills the frame (shooting 4K 4096x2160). Image is sharp to the edges, and focus is very forgiving. If you have the lens hood installed you will see it on the edges of the frame, but it is easily removed while shooting. 5 |

I purchased this lens to go with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. This was my first Rokinon Cine DS lens, and I was worried because I thought the plastic build would be cheap and crack easily. To my surprise and delight, this thing is built like a tank. The focus and aperture gears are incredibly smooth and nearly silent, and the markings on the lens are easily readable in various conditions of light. Every aperture I tested is very sharp and clean, with a nice natural color and smoothness to it thats good for skin tones and human/animal subjects. Im definitely going to purchase several more of these for film and video work. Im very happy. 5 |
