I ordered this lens to use with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera and a Metabones Speed Booster. Although I'm yet to use the package in real life shooting situations, I did some extensive tests and the results were amazing. I confirm that this is probably one of the best zoom lenses for that particular camera. It performs specially well in low light conditions because of the lens high aperture and the extra f boost by the speed booster. The lens is big and heavy though and I would prefer a wider range on the focus ring to control focus. Also, for this particular combo, you will probably need some other lens to go really wide and something else to go closer. It's really a medium range zoom in that particular configuration.

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is an amazing video camera for the price. The BMPCC 4K has a lot of high-end features for a compact body will sacrificing other components and features. I can highly recommend it and I promise you won't regret getting one of these for your production.

I use this to work with my Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 4K camera and Sony F series Battery Holder from Smallrig, it works well!

Used with Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K this lens works very well. the fisheye effect is nice and fills the frame (shooting 4K 4096x2160). Image is sharp to the edges, and focus is very forgiving. If you have the lens hood installed you will see it on the edges of the frame, but it is easily removed while shooting.

Fits perfectly to Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k and 6K but not Pro as it interferes with HDMI port/cable (if you're using HDMI port).

I purchased this lens to go with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. This was my first Rokinon Cine DS lens, and I was worried because I thought the plastic build would be cheap and crack easily. To my surprise and delight, this thing is built like a tank. The focus and aperture gears are incredibly smooth and nearly silent, and the markings on the lens are easily readable in various conditions of light. Every aperture I tested is very sharp and clean, with a nice natural color and smoothness to it thats good for skin tones and human/animal subjects. Im definitely going to purchase several more of these for film and video work. Im very happy.
