I bought this for my blackmagic pocket cinema camera. Without this adapter, that camera wouldn't have been my first choice due to the crop factor. Not only does the adapter reduce the crop factor, but it also helps my lenses out in low light shoots! Simply awesome! 5 |

I am using it on the bmpcc. It's focal length range is great for the crop factor of the Blackmagic Pocket when on the move. The build is great, given the crop factor the usual foibles of edge effects are less visible across this sensor. It's light enough weight and small enough that the camera and lens together are the picture of portability for top quality video. It is also less intimidating in the public. 5 |

It's nice to make that leap from shooting on a DSLR to working with the Blackmagic Production 4K camera. It makes the transition even easier when I'm able to use all the batteries I've accumulated over the years. Also, being able to plug in sound with XLR inputs is a HUGE bonus. 5 |

The GH4 is a great little camera but the noise at high ISOs and crop factor (2.3x in 4k?!?!?) were deal breakers. I've shot projects with full frame and crop sensor Canon DSLRs for years but they aren't made for true video production. (Even the low end consumer camcorders have Zebras.) Then Metabones updated their adapter lineup and BOOM! Suddenly the GH4 was starting to look like a viable option. Yes, the adapter is more expensive than others but if you are like me and invested in Canon glass it's worth it. Being able to turn a F4 L lens into a 2.8f with IS is well... it's a thing of beauty. You won't be disappointed. 5 |
