Our HD-SDI switcher sends only the program HD-SDI audio to the Atomos Samurai Blade, meaning we are limited to the analog IN. I go from my mixer to the 70D on four channels and send Mixer Tape Out to the Blade. Result is easy synching in post and four pristine channels of very clean audio. This four input recorder gives me back the four analog channels I had with my DVCAM DSR 2000A. Four AAs last a couple of hours or more and its screw mount holds the blade in an upright position, something I did not have before. 5 |
