Blink Outdoor Camera App For Iphone
Timothy | 2024-07-06 09:29:38 |
I had been shopping around for a wireless option to assist in creating content for my virtual photo classes. I was originally looking at the Rode GO which seemed pretty straight forward and easy to use, but then I came across the Saramonic Blink 500. The comparisons of the two options were pretty close, but I went with the Blink 500 because I got more bang for the buck! Having two mics with two lavaliers was a big selling point for me, as I now have the ability to mic my assistant or subject. I also did not have to purchase any additional cords to connect to my iPhone or laptop as everything I needed was right in the box. Using it with the iPhone is significantly bulkier than the Saramonic Lightning receiver option, but I like knowing I have the ability to expand upon this system in the future. I have used the Blink 500 directly on various Canon and Sony cameras, my iPhone, and my MacBook Pro all with clear audio results. This was a fantastic purchase for my needs. 5 |

I used to have a Blink. This doorbell is better with better app interaction to answer a doorbell ring. The angle plates are a good design to line up the view properly. 5 |

Excellent picture! Super easy to set up! The Lorex Indoor 1080 was incredibly easy to set up. It has an app that I was able to download to my iPhone and scan and get set up in minutes. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. Way better than anything I have with the popular outdoor smart cameras. What I like about this indoor camera is a few of the features that I have set up. First, I have it pointed at a door - and I have it set-up that I only get notifications and it will start to record when it detects a person. Second, I have set up my home area in the app and I only receive notifications when I am not home. I get a push notification when I enter or leave my "home area". I really wish we could set our outdoor cameras to do this! It let's you open up the app and manually record or take snapshots. You can also use this with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. I definitely recommend this indoor camera! 5 |

we needed a 4th camera for our live stream set up, and with this (and a free app) we were able to connect my iphone to my atem mini, adding an additional camera with minimal effort. 5 |

Good camera, lots of options to customize it to your use pattern. The case from this kit barely fits the camera, especially tight fit when you carry an extra battery. Wifi connection to iPhone app works great. Although the absence of GPS in the camera means you have to remember to turn on GPS logging on your phone app before using the camera, which drains your phone battery a lot more. No Mac wifi syncing app, so I have to go back to connecting the sd card to my MacBook. Don't sync all pictures to your phone if you plan to later import from the sdcard because some metadata (like lens info) doesn't transfer to the MacOS Photo.app through the iPhone syncing method. 5 |

I just got this trigger for lightning photography. I haven't used it for lightning yet, but I set it up on my camera and installed the app on my iPhone. Tested it and it worked. It was easy but now to see if a bolt will trigger it. 5 |

I use the product to monitor audio recorded from an external microphone (RODE NTG2) into a Canon 5DMkII. I was told by an employee at B&H that other camera audio monitoring solutions (Magic Lantern, etc.) can potentially void the warranty on the Canon camera. Scary. Controlling audio input during recording is overrated. The Sescom is a safe alternative. Just set a healthy audio input level in the settings and let it be. Also, it works on the iPhone!! Amazing. I use my iPhone as a field recorder using the RODE app. I hook up the Sescom cable with a boom pole, shotgun mic, set of heaphones, and my iPhone. Super slick and mobile system. Then I just send the files from my app to my computer via Dropbox. 5 |

Several reviewers have complained about not receiving a printed manual that they can carry around. In addition to downloading the manual from the Olympus website you can put it on an iPhone if you install the Adobe Acrobat viewer App from the from the App Store. I have it on my iPhone 7 Plus and find It more convenient than carrying around a printed manual. FYI - a printed manual was included with the camera/lens combo I purchased. I have also noticed that the camera's performance at the highest ISO settings is noticeably improved. 5 |

This camera is incredible, for the price. The mobile app on the iphone is really great compared to other apps like GoPros. Having the ability to go back and export a video from one shot in a different way is really game-changing. 5 |

I've been using the Zhiyun Smooth 5S AI Gimbal with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it’s been a good choice for improving my video quality. Most importantly the stabilization is effective, giving me steady shots even while moving around and walking. Balancing the gimbal is straightforward. I also like that it’s easy to switch between landscape and portrait modes, so I can quickly adjust depending on what I’m shooting. The AI tracking does a nice job of keeping my subject in frame, which is really helpful. The AI tracker magnetically mounts to the gimbal in both the forward position and the selfie mode. I’ve been happy with the ZY Cami app as it has a bunch of features, easy to use, and still allows me to film in 4K 24p, 30p and 60p. I can still use the native iPhone camera app. The gesture control feature is actually fun to use and convenient. The built-in fill light is most useful for low-light situations if your subject is relatively close to the camera but will drain the gimbal battery faster. The gimbal battery life has been reliable. I’ve managed to get through longer shoots without needing to recharge. I wish this gimbal came with a carrying case or bag. For now I have been storing it in one of my camera bags as the gimbal is small enough to fit. Overall, it’s been a convenient tool for filming with my phone, and I’m glad I picked it up. I’ll will definitely be taking this gimbal on my next vacation. And in the next few months I will be upgrading to the latest iphone. 5 |
