Blink Outdoor Camera Distance From Sync Module

I'm using this to sync a Ninja V with Sync module to my F6. I wasn't completely sure that would work but it works great, and just lives in the F6 all the time, plug it in and forget it.

I too just purchased for trusty GoPro Hero 4 to use with Ninja V and the AtomX Sync module. Works like a champ! Not only perfect timecode sync, but wireless record start of the GoPro to boot, measured at 5 frames after the Ninja V starts. The concept that I can start the Ninja and the gopro by one press of my Z6 release button, and align them to timecode blows my mind. Very convenient, and the RF channel communication is more solid than dealing with Bluetooth. Set and forget so far.

I mostly use this lens for outdoor photography and getting a little distance between myself and my subject for more natural shots. This lens focuses fast and is very quiet. Very clear images as well. It seems to have a little difficulty focusing on very cluttered or very plain scenes (bushes and trees or clear sky) but I think changing my focus points on the camera will help with this issue and any other lens would have issues with this as well. Overall this is a very fast and clear lens and most likely the lens I will use the most for everyday photography. Very lightweight combo with the D5500 camera that I could carry for hours.

The eyepiece module is like having an upscale set of binoculars with a Swarovski objective. Performance wise the package is superb. Interpupil distance is easily adjusted and there is a useful headrest. Focus does require moving your hand to the objective focus ring. Otherwise it is nearly like binoculars. There is no zoom and magnification is set at 30x. The aiming assist, a small scope to the right of the right eyepiece is outstanding at perfectly aiming the scope. The aiming assist is not protected by the SOC, but it is removable with a bit of fussing with a screwdriver. The total package with a 95mm objective is not much heavier than with the ATX eyepiece, but the BTX is significantly larger in width. In summary, a great spotting scope. My personal desired improvements would be a very slightly closer interpupil distance for use by children, and a better way of removing or protecting the aiming aid. But it still gets 5 stars.

Ordered 4 of these for my two A1s. Now, I easily make it through an outdoor shoot using hi-speed sync.

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

I needed to increase the distance of my sync cord as I use it attached to a background light. This serves the purpose wonderfully. It attaches tightly and allows my lights to fire consistently. I am very happy that I bought this.
