Blink Outdoor Camera Flip Image

Love this lens. Just note that the image is flipped. You have to flip the image in camera, then AGAIN in post. An unfortunate side effect of being SO wide with this lens and the level of engineering to make it not cheap looking. I think Arri will have a fix for it in one of their SUPs, hopefully soon.

I purchased this head for my 8x10 and 4x5 large format cameras. I am so impressed with the geared movements that I am not sure how I composed my image precisely on my ground glass previously. The gears allow me to easily adjust my bulky cameras precisely to how I want the image to look without "struggling" with the shifting of the camera (when the knobs are loose) and having to readjust the camera position several times to get it right. Completely worth the money! I initially purchased the Flip-Lock version but exchanged it for the Classic knob because I found the Flip-Lock version to be too much of a hassle; simplicity is best.

This camera lacks many luxury features that YouTubers and Vloggers wish it had like IBIS, flip screen, EVF etc. But it wasn't made with them in mind. This camera is for filmmakers who want the best image for the best price. It costs a thousand dollars less than the GH-5s and comes with a full end-to-end editing/grading/audio/VFX software package. And most importantly the quality of the image it produces is far beyond anything any DSLR will give you. The fact that this camera is as good as it is for the price is just insane.

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

I use this polarizer for outdoor landscape cinematography. When shopping for polarizers, many are quite expensive. This one was a fraction the cost of some competing filters, but very affordable. It's also one of the few polarizers on the market that will fit into a 3mm thick carrier tray, such as the one on my dp 3000 matte box. The filter is effective and has minimal image degradation. I cannot say that I see a visible decrease in image quality with the filter in place. The results are quite interesting, with blue skies deepened in color to the point where they appear as only a fighter pilot at 60,000 feet altitude would see them. They effectively eliminate haze. The filter is also effective at eliminating reflections off windows, allowing the camera to see in. For example, if the camera is mounted on the bonnet of an automobile to shoot the front seat occupants, rotating the filter a bit will make a clean windshield appear invisible. For my type of shooting, it gets the job done with no major compromises.

I'm not a fan of the OM-1 side flip screen so I purchased this purely for flip up screen for outdoor macro photography and it works great. The sensor is great and the 90mm + MC-14 is glued to this body as a dedicated macro setup. Highly recommend to all macro shooters.

This is in my opinion the perfect reflector for outdoor portraits. Easy to flip from white to silver and huge, but not 'too huge' so you get a good throw of light but can still be managed by one person.

I love this camera and I love that I can take selfies with the flip screen!
