Blink Outdoor Camera Has A Horrible Sound

must have because the on board camera mics are horrible this make it sound so much better and I love the volume knob on it

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

I use the Blink 500 in a therapeutic coaching situation and hook the receiver up to my ZOOM Q2N through the line in jack. The transmitter works extremely well in picking up the client's voice clearly as well as that of the nearby child (not quite as loud) using the built in mic. There are different gain settings to louder the sound and the option to add an included lavalier mic to the transmitter for more localized sound pick-up. Each unit needs charging after 2 or 3 uses, is small enough to be unobtrusive, feels well built, and has built in clips for attaching. So far, I highly recommend it.

I bought this after my full-frame Sony went on the blink. Grandkids were coming and I needed a camera fast but, thinking my 'good' camera could be repaired, decided I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an interim replacement. After a couple of weeks of shooting I've come to love it. It's light, fast, colors are true and the dynamic range is very good for a camera at this price point. I've paired it with a Sigma 56mm 1.4 Art Lens and a Tamron 15-200mm zoom and am getting great photos.

That's happen to me, I was use my glasses and the headphone is not close totally and the sound is horrible but when you remove yours glasses, uff the sound is great

After listening to my two Play 5's set up as a pair for the last two weeks, I decided to turn on my old Yamaha amp with Polk speakers. I kid you not... I thought there was something wrong with them. Adjusted the tone controls and nope, they just sound horrible compared to the Play 5. My Polks are literally missing about 30% of the sounds that the Play 5's put out. Even my said the old speakers sound horrible. Thank you Sonos engineers!

who ever say'd that your horrible with cameras this is the simplest camera to use and one of the best in the 3ccd and im 15 i know more this is a great camera and i would recommand to everyone!
