Blink Outdoor Solar Camera

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

Great product!!! Upgraded from a previous purchase of lower model that is prefect. Solar panel is a must for outdoor enthusiasts.

Great to carry in a pocket, while doing outdoor portraits blocks solar flair. The bag can be used under a knee to keep the subjects knee clean while kneeling for you. The silver gives fill while photographing small objects on a hike, like flowers and leaves. Very handy, no matter your experience level!

I purchased 2 of these for outdoor solar lights which have 28 LEDs in each light. They become very bright when they detect motion and dim down when there is no motion. But they are on all the time when it gets dark. Easily lasts from dusk to dawn in the long winter nights. I initially charged them in a regular charger and peak voltage was 4.3v. After the light was on for 14hrs the voltage had dropped to 4.1v. Still plenty of capacity left in them.

This thing is very convenient to bring to indoor spaces / spaces with outlets / outdoor spaces with usb solar chargers / anywhere you have to film for a long time. I love the SD card holders, lighting indicators for charge level, and that it can charge three at a time.

I bought this after my full-frame Sony went on the blink. Grandkids were coming and I needed a camera fast but, thinking my 'good' camera could be repaired, decided I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an interim replacement. After a couple of weeks of shooting I've come to love it. It's light, fast, colors are true and the dynamic range is very good for a camera at this price point. I've paired it with a Sigma 56mm 1.4 Art Lens and a Tamron 15-200mm zoom and am getting great photos.
