I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs. 5 |

There's an old saying that the best camera is the one you have with you. The lens is part of that equation. I LOVE my 1st gen EF 100-400. This lens is one stop slower but about half the weight and size. I'll carry this with me in many circumstances where I'd tend to leave the old one behind. In body stabilization and improved high ISO performance in the latest R cameras easily compensates for the smaller max aperture. In limited early testing I'm very pleased with the optical performance... and it should get even better when Adobe releases their profile for this lens. 5 |

I have a 1st Gen Canon HD video camera and it only came with one battery (which looses charge quickly). This one holds for much longer. A great purchase! 5 |

I was using a 1st-gen Rebel with a 28-200 image-stabilizing lens. I loved taking pictures with it, but didn't like hauling it around! This camera has all the control I could ask for and the zoom I'm used to, yet it fits easily in my daypack or even my jacket pocket. Since I was used to a larger camera, my grip has had to change, and I've pushed random buttons at times. Also, when using the click-wheel, I've pushed it and accidentally changed ISO or self-timer settings. These things are only minor inconveniences in an otherwise great compact camera. 5 |

Makes much more sense than the 1st gen with the goofy charge port. 5 |

Don't have to worry about out of battery is a great improvement over 1st Gen! 5 |

It's just a relief to charge this pen than the 1st gen in a weird position. 5 |

Replacing a 1st gen iPad. Apple makes the best, sturdiest products. I'm sure this 9th gen iPad will do as well as the 1st gen. 5 |

Very similar to the 1st gen, but without the hassle of charging... a lot less slippery and much comfortable... 5 |

I feel that it far exceeds the performance of 14mm f2.8L (1st Gen.) and even exceeds 24mm f1.4L (1st Gen.) . It is heavy and large, but its performance is perfect. 5 |
