Blink Security Light Camera

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

Works well and doesn't take up a ton of desk space. The front blue light does blink while ots actively transferring and can get annoying so I just covered it with gaff tape.

I've owned several d2's in the past -- all quality purchases. My early view of my new 14TB d2 Pro's is they are large capacity; solid and fast performers; exceptionally quiet; warmer to the touch after extended read/write sessions -- but not of concern; and without any other setting or intervention they automatically sleep and wakeup soon after my Mac does. In my opinion, you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny. The only downside is the blue status light is B-R-I-G-H-T enough to light a dark room at night and can be distracting if they are blinking while you're trying to sleep even down the hall, or if you have them running perhaps in an office when people outside will think the Martians have invaded the place with the bright blue blink-blink-blink. I placed a piece of dimming film over the light and I still have a visual status what's going on with the drive, but without the nighttime glare.

Works as expected. Really nice to have a flood light with integrated security camera.

I bought this after my full-frame Sony went on the blink. Grandkids were coming and I needed a camera fast but, thinking my 'good' camera could be repaired, decided I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an interim replacement. After a couple of weeks of shooting I've come to love it. It's light, fast, colors are true and the dynamic range is very good for a camera at this price point. I've paired it with a Sigma 56mm 1.4 Art Lens and a Tamron 15-200mm zoom and am getting great photos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is very high quality! The picture is very clear on the app. The sound quality is excellent. The tracking of human shape is good, but it does pickup animals, and our wind chime sometimes. It’s fun to check on our cats or wildlife in our yard. The flood lights are bright. The ease of install made for a quick setup. Nothing additional needed to be purchased, because we just replaced an old outdoor light with this flood light camera. It even hangs easily while installing it so you don’t have to hold the light while trying to connect wires. It made it an easy one person job. We really like how clear the picture is, for security purposes, we would have a good description of an intruder. I would highly recommend this flood light security camera.

It provides clear video feeds though the app which allows to see wide ranges and distance of subjects without a problem. Look forward to getting more products to add to the house in the future !

Great camera, flood light. Software works well. Integrates well with other Lorex security software. Trouble shooting instructions could be better. Tech support is excellent when the instructions do not work.
